Dear Blank;

It's me, that little girl,
The one you always called "dear".
You'd pick me up in your arms,
And tell me stories of life with your lover.
She was by your side, right up until the end.
She never let you go, she still hasn't.
Neither have I.

I did it. I did it for you, and for me.
I'm done high school, I graduated and grew.
I was going to show you, come by and surprise you both.
To see you smile, just one last time would have made it a bit easier.
I miss you.

I know you won't see this,
And I know you won't ever know any of this,
But you meant so much to me.
The memories with you will be etched in my brain.
I promise I won't forget.

When I saw you, the sun was smiling,
Shining ever so brightly.
I felt ever so bitter. Why shine now?
When you've just taken him away.
Why take him away?

I look out now, and the sky is crying.
Crying like I did when I saw you.
Seeing the horrible mistake it was,
Yet knowing it was time.
So just cry, let it out like I did.
Crying is okay sometimes.

It's okay though, when you died,
You died being loved,
By everyone
I love you.
